20 years served as member of
    US Army bands, 5 years of which he
    spent as a teacher for Piano,
    Improvisation, Jazz Combo,  and
    Electronic Music at the  Armed Forces
    School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia

has performed throughout the USA and
    Europe in all settings
participated in several Jazz Festivals
    including. North Sea Jazz Festival
    in Den Haag.

has recorded 1 LP and 9 CDs.

has performed with well-known
    (and lesser-known, but famous in their
    own right ! ) jazz and blues musicians
    such as:

    small orchestra
    duo for stomp-board, piano, and
        chansonette

Michael Sorg has been living in Siegburg,
    Germany since 2005 with Peggy O. and       their two sons (which they share in
    common ! )
